Al-Ghanem: We must quickly forget this match and focus on the upcoming confrontation

Kuwait national team coach, Rui Bento, confirmed that his team appeared well against its Lebanese counterpart in the friendly match that brought them together on Thursday evening at the Camille Chamoun Stadium in Beirut and ended in a goalless draw.

Bento said in the press conference after the match, "We faced a strong team, and we wanted to impose our style on the match, and I think we succeeded in doing so in the first half in particular."

He added, "We had several chances in the first half, but unfortunately we did not succeed in investing them, while the second half witnessed a decline in our level, but in general our appearance was good."

Bento stressed that the coming period will witness the intensification of training in order to reach the required readiness before participating in the Gulf Championship "Gulf 25" scheduled to be held in Basra, Iraq, from January 6 to 19.

For his part, Kuwait national team player Fahad Al-Ansari said that the team was keen to implement the coach's instructions during the match, but luck was absent.

Al-Ansari added, "We must quickly forget this match and focus on the upcoming confrontation, and we hope to appear better in the next matches."

Al-Azmi: The match witnessed many positive aspects, but we missed luck

The assistant coach of the Kuwaiti national team, Bader Al-Azmi, considered that the match against Lebanon witnessed many positive aspects, but luck was absent in investing the available scoring opportunities.

Al-Azmi said in statements to the media after the match, "The match was strong in light of the presence of two good teams, and we created many opportunities, but we lacked luck in exploiting them."

He added, "The team is in a stage of building and renewal, and we must be patient with the players, and we will certainly appear in a better way in the upcoming matches."

Al-Qallaf: We are satisfied with the team's performance, despite the absence of victory

The head of the Kuwaiti delegation to Lebanon, Abdullah Al-Qallaf, expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the national team, despite its failure to achieve victory in the friendly match against Lebanon.

Al-Qallaf said in statements to the media after the match, "We are satisfied with the team's performance, which appeared at a good level and created many chances, but unfortunately we did not succeed in investing them."

He added, "The team is currently in a stage of renewal, and through these friendly matches, the technical staff is trying to establish the features of the main group before participating in the Gulf Championship."
